The aim of this study is to evaluate the primary education goals set out in the 2023 Education Vision within the context of primary school teacher candidates. This study was conducted on a sample of 320 first, second, third, and fourth year teacher candidates between 2018 and 2019. This is a quantitative study. Surveys were used as the tool of data collection. It was observed that the students had strongly supported almost all of the goals set out in the education vision. Goals such as “Supporting education and extra supplies in line with the needs of combined classrooms”, “Increasing cooperation between schools and regional science centers, museums, art galleries, technical parks, and universities, and “giving priority resource planning for schools operating under unfavorable conditions” were the most strongly supported by teachers. On the other hand, students did not support or were undecided about goals such as “phasing out double-shift teaching”, “arranging to remove the need for study aids to a large degree”, and “having students participate in regional summer exchange programs through the use of boarding schools”.
